I never thought I would be blogging.

I didn't even know what a blog was until my wife and 11 year old daughter educated me and introduced me to the world of blogging.

I started to run again during the later stages of 2017 in my late 30's after too many years of very little physical activity due to a serious spinal and lower leg injury which required lengthy physio and hospital treatment.

I'm married with 3 lovely (most of the time) children, work in a demanding professional role and now try to juggle my new found running bug with runs fitting in around drop off and pick up from kids activities and early mornings.

The catalyst for me to try running again was the scary moment of stepping on the scales and the pressing reality that my clothes were starting to feel extremely snug!

Since then I have dropped 50lbs and around 6" from my waist, not from dieting alone but, being aware of what I eat and drink, along with starting to run again.
